Mai (My) Tan Cosplay is a 15 year veteran cosplayer who has been making her cosplays from scratch and attends numerous conventions in the Northeast Tri-state area. She lives by her motto that "Anyone can cosplay!"

She's two parts geek and one part thespian. She's also an actress, director and producer with 40 wins, 23 nominations and many films under her belt. Some of her favorite series include: Gargoyles, Deep Space 9 & Twilight Zone. 'm Phong, an artist and aspiring comic author. One Piece and World of Warcraft are my two biggest creative inspirations and my artist motto is "Not to draw it as it is but like it's never been seen!" I'm super passionate about art and I've been drawing my whole life. My favorite thing about it is the freedom of expression you get; to bring any idea you can imagine to life and drawings have so much power! They can inspire and motivate people, it can incite happiness, it can create opportunities, allows you to meet people and so much more. I love it when people come up to me and tell me how much they like my work and notice the small details, it's literally the best feeling that someone likes something you put so much blood, sweat and tears into. So I'm pursuing my dream of doing art full time, it's the only thing I see myself doing for the rest of my life.
